About
GeoWebCache is a Java web application that caches map tiles generated by sources such as OGC Web Map Service. It exposes cached tiles through WMS-C, WMTS, TMS, Google Maps, and Bing-compatible services, reducing repeated rendering load on origin servers. GeoWebCache can run standalone or alongside GeoServer and other OGC services.
