Verde
Python library for processing and gridding spatial data, with a scikit-learn style API.
BSD-3-Clause
About
Verde is a Python library for processing spatial data such as bathymetry, gravity surveys and point clouds, and for interpolating scattered observations onto regular grids. Its estimator and pipeline interface mirrors scikit-learn, so gridding parameters can be cross-validated like any other model, and it exchanges data with the SciPy stack through NumPy, pandas and xarray. It is part of the Fatiando a Terra project alongside Harmonica and Boule.
Features
- scikit-learn style estimator and pipeline API
- Gridding of scattered spatial observations
- Spline, polynomial and blocked means
- Trend and 2D polynomial separation
- Cross-validation for gridding parameters
- Handles bathymetry, gravity and point clouds
