About

QuackOSM is a Python library and command-line tool for reading OpenStreetMap PBF files with DuckDB's spatial extension. It reconstructs geometries, filters by tags, geometry, or OSM IDs, and can download extracts automatically. Results can be exported as sorted GeoParquet files or DuckDB tables, with both Python and CLI workflows.
