About
MovingPandas is a Python library for handling movement data, providing trajectory data structures and analysis methods built on GeoPandas. It supports trajectory cleaning, generalization, segmentation, stop detection, and computation of speed and direction, with interactive visualization through hvPlot and Folium. It originated at the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology and handles data sources such as GPS tracks, AIS, and GTFS feeds.
