About
GeoNetwork is a metadata catalog for spatially referenced resources, providing ISO 19115 and 19139 metadata editing, harvesting from remote sources, and an OGC CSW catalogue service for discovery. It ships with an interactive map viewer for previewing and subsetting records, and is used as the catalog layer in many national and institutional spatial data infrastructures. The core application is Java, with a modern JavaScript front end and official Docker images.
