About
GeoDa is a desktop application for exploring spatial patterns in attribute data, developed by Luc Anselin and the GeoDa Center. It provides local spatial autocorrelation statistics such as Moran's I and Geary's C, spatial weights estimation, space-time pattern analysis and basic spatial regression, presented through linked map and chart views. Vector data is read and written through GDAL, and an R interface is available as rgeoda.
Features
- Local Moran, Geary and join count cluster maps
- Spatial weights matrices from contiguity or distance
- Space-time pattern analysis across multiple periods
- Spatial regression with model diagnostics
- Linked map and chart views for every statistic
- Reads vector formats through GDAL
