# three-geo

Canonical: https://gisforweb.com/tools/three-geo/

three.js library that turns GPS coordinates into textured 3D terrain meshes.

three-geo is a geographic visualization library for three.js. Given a latitude and longitude it assembles a satellite-textured 3D terrain mesh in near real time from elevation tiles, and exposes the result as standard THREE.Mesh objects so the geometry and textures can be manipulated directly. It is aimed at custom WebGL terrain experiments rather than globe-scale basemaps.
