geojson-vt is a JavaScript library that slices GeoJSON data into Mapbox Vector Tiles on the fly in the browser or Node.js. It lets web maps render large GeoJSON datasets as tiled vector data without a pre-tiling step or a tile server. It powers GeoJSON sources in Mapbox GL JS and MapLibre GL JS, and has been ported to C++ and other languages.
